I had the 99 28. Was my first go boat. Was a great boat, had no complaints but on real rough water it bounces around quite a bit..

I've noticed it has been for sale for some time now too. Nice looking boat. The only one I've ever been on (a '99 model, if memory serves) ran good but it felt as though the water off the step was hitting right at your feet. Definitely had vibration in the floor. Not sure if it was just that particular boat or if all of them do it.

It looks like it has a new lower unit on it. It has been for sale at least a year now.

I had almost exactly the same boat, and sold it for not much more money almost 6 years ago. That boat has been for sale for a long, long time...

Thanks for the replies. I am asking for a family member. It has been for sale for a long time that is why I was wondering if something was wrong or just a bad market.

FWIW, we enjoyed the 280; if I was in the market for a new boat, I'd consider another one. One of that vintage is a mid-high 30K boat, I'd think, in today's market.

I'm sure you looked at this one in the classifieds but if you are looking for a 280 you should seriously consider this one.

This is my father-in-law's boat that we built for him while I worked at PQ.

It's in really good shape and has pretty low hours for a 2000.

It sits on a lift in Holland in the summer and in a heated building all winter.

I can get you more pictures if you want b/c the one he posted doesn't show too much.
