That's Dans neighbors. The one I mentioned a few pages back. Very nice and runs good too. You should buy it

I should be ready after this weekend. About all that's left is to change 2 sending units, wire the oil temp gauge and switch out all my switches/ wire indicator lights. A good wipe down and should be ready. As far as the wrap goes...im very happy with it. The seams look good and you can barely see the outline of the old graphics. I thought I had them sanded smooth but apparently not but you have to look at it at an angle down the side to really see them.

Thanks for the compliment on the boat.
Speed has been reported to touch 85 mph on gps by the old owner. If it doesnt there will be two 3.0 litre whipples added to the 525's.
If I run 80 though I will be happy........for a while.

That looks like a nice boat. No mention of a trailer in the add though.

I have been on a Sunsation 288 with a 525 and a whipple in NY and let me tell you that thing pulled like no other:eek: I was in shock how fast that thing felt:eek: But even with stock power @ 80+ MPH is plenty fast for me and you should be very happy with that speed!

I have yet to drive the boat so I am hoping it is everything I want.

AJ POWERPLAY 05-04-2011 04:04 PM

If its not what you want Verbi I will gladly let you take a huge hit and sell it to me cheap... after all, it IS just an 80mph Powerquest ;)

Cool. Didn't know you sanded them off. It's gonna cost me $600 to paint but I was considering maybe a wrap. Yours looks good.

AJ POWERPLAY 05-04-2011 04:33 PM

Where did this boat end up? I never see it in any pics or the owner post anything.

Verbi...you will not be disappointed! Nevermind all the b/s from the outsiders; PQ owners all know best ride, speed, and comfort out of this brand in each length.

Ran my 270 on Lake Ontario in the rough stuff, always solid and confident. Took the 380 to Ont & St. Lawerance last year after I bought it; worked fantastic. Hit 84+ mph with full tank of fuel and 8 people! Still not quite the right props only pulling 4800-4900 rpm. We'll see this year with the fresh engines, I/C's and reprogamming...

I like hearing things like this!
Your boat is no slouch!
I'm pretty sure we'll be tickled pink once we're in it.

If you find one let me know, we could get in a bidding war for it.
What about a Sunny, I hear there the best. Any truth in that??

AJ POWERPLAY 05-05-2011 06:04 AM

But you've got to think... for that money/power/boat you'd have to really want an F4 in a serious way

My mega millions winnings would be heading more this way --->http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o36952-en.html

By the way I posted this just to spite you:p (and the rest of the sunsation crew that despises me :lolhit:)

Aj, Campion is one of those guys that loves boating and no matter what you ride can always find an appreciation for variety and beauty no matter what name is on the side, so he's like a brother....

Drock78 05-05-2011 06:32 AM

i really hope to see one of these F4's on Lk. St. Clair this summer because they sure do look impressive! Ive seen OL, Hustler, Cig, Apache, AT...but the attention to detail on the interior looks impressive in the pics

POWERPLAY J 05-05-2011 06:42 AM

Been in a few. The details are unbelievable. But more bling means more to break down the road.

AJ POWERPLAY 05-05-2011 06:42 AM

Lmfao- Derek you belong in a sunsation... the F4 is a sweet boat, but it is no outerlimits, and that's not meant as a bash, but certainly you can understand where the comparison would end... (I can see it now... "F4 INTEGRITY QUESTIONED!! HE SAID THEY SUCK OMG OMG OMG OMG KILL AJ!!!"):lolhit:

Verbi- I think Campion is a cool guy (for a Canadian:p) no worries!

This only directed at you AJ:lolhit: We can't legally say kill AJ, but I have posted this on the Sunsation forum where you can not defend your self....:lolhit:

You should send this message to Skip they seem to be doing more bling lately also:party-smiley-004: I guess for the money they are charging for these boats new they need all the crap you can pout in them to justify the cost, like the car companies are also doing, I like the old school cigs, clean and simple. But those days are over.

AJ POWERPLAY 05-05-2011 07:16 AM

It's alright sunsation96... I have been sought out on OSO before... I doubt they will hesitate to come on over to PQ again lol. Everyone knows where to find me!:drink:

Like back when one swim platform was enough instead of putting one behind a different one that's already there??:party-smiley-004:

The owner the bought that used F4 paid for the R & D of that. I thought it was out of place but after seeing it I see the point, would I do it? Don't know. But I will say I like Cigs alot more with a platform.

Favorite Cig (right now) HA It needs a platform
