Hmmmm...not trying to burst your bubble but the math doesn't quite add up there.

I had a 24 Superboat w/496HO. With a 28P Bravo I saw around 78 MPH @ 5000 RPMs. I saw 80 once or twice.

EDIT: I read through some of the thread again and noticed that you are running a 1.36 drive. In that case you numbers add up.

Thanks Chris!

THe power would be 425 plus whatever the CMI's add and what the Bullet mufflers removes so maybe a total of 450HP.

The Bravo X is just a standard Bravo with a couple parts with added strength. My prop shaft is about 3-1/2" below the bottom.

My bottom needed alot of work to get is straight and sharp so that should have given me a few MPH, and then it's the weight.

The Pantera is completely empty and stripped from anything that I don't need. Total race weight complete with all the equipment and gear I need for racing (just about 100Lbs) and 20 gallons of fuel is 3850Lbs.

You should try a 25P Rev4, I got the same RPM's with it as with the 26P Bravo.

Wow... Either my motor is making nowhere the 500hp I thought, or your light weight and worked bottom makes a huge difference! lol

Still impressive work on your end...

Damn good speed as well Dave...

Im thinking my props definitely too big, you guys are turning that much RPM, similar HP range, and way more speed, lol

Just got a bit more with a 25P Rev4...

83.2MPH hard at the limiter at 5150rpm. Pretty choppy and windy.

First of all you have 27ft, maybe a cabin and most likely a lot more weight. :)

Granted it is 3 ft longer but has no cabin. People here are talking about speeds far greater than what i am seeing. can 3 feet, no cabin account for 10+ mph?

My boat used to be a trs boat and is now a bravo. i am starting to suspect it may be a set up issue with the drive or prop.

Great job getting that 24/7 working so well.

How deep is the prop?
how much power do you have?
