Okay, so if anyone knows of or has any parts to an external hydraulic steering system let me know. A new kit will run me around 2500. And right now I don't know if that's going to be able to happen. I was looking at helms and it's 400 for the post and another 400 for just the actual helm. I still need to order my lighting headers... unless lighting was totally awesome and was just like hey your boat kicks a$$ have a set of headers... hey a guy can dream can't he?? This is definitely one of those projects you don't ever want to add up how much everything costs... trust me it only makes you want to cry. But yes if anyone has a lead on steering parts let me know. Really need a helm set up so I can mock up the controls.

Another teaser pic. Polished out my stock throttle body. Give me a few more days to unveil my completed intake... trust me, you want to see what I've got going.

Looks good. What are you using to glue carbon fiber down?

Mostly fiberglass resin... mostly lol. A few spots I had to mix up jb weld to get the points to stay down.

I will never figure out why gm made the truck intake so damn ugly. I seem to have fixed that problem. I would have been done faster but having only one really good hand, I think it turned out really well. Now I need to find or make hold downs for my fuel rails to the truck intake.

So if anyone is interested in donating or helping a guy out... I need some info on, or actual parts, for the hydraulic steering helm. I don't know how the system actually mounts to the dash.

I love the Internet, I was talking about my engine and state that I have 10k invested into it now. I say that I've researched every part that went into it and spent money where it was necessary. A guys response. Those don't look like head studs. Uh, no they are arp bolts. So, how does me using bolts over studs change anything I stated?? Last I checked arp head bolts are pretty serious. ..lol
