The mold is the same for both the cyclone and offshore.
The "cyclone " badge was created for twin engine boats, exceeding 1000 hp.
If you look at the yellow boat for sale, on classifieds, you will see it is "Offshore" as that boat originally had twin 7.4,s.
There is most likely exceptions, but if you look deep enough I would bet, as some point there was a power replacement.
this is exactly correct. told to me right from jim and doug geelhoed

not correct, early boats are narrower at the sides where they meet the bottom. mold was redone and that area is wider. deck mold never changed. the cyclone edition was simply twin engine boat that they promised would go 85 mph for 85k. they used 500hp's to do this.

All and all, no matter, love my boat, and really love both your boats and hoping to see you on the water. Wish there was a Saber Day on Muskegon Lake, or anywhere. I have never had the pleasure of attending one.

How does the 28 Saber stack up against a 28 Pantera or 28 Apache?

Why doesn't someone ask Doug? He will tell you.

I will send him a message and let you know what he says.
