We got the toolbox worked, primed, blocked, and painted and installed. This box was not cheap then you get to take it apart, repair dents, welds etc. but it will be nice to keep all my straps, extra lines, tools, locked up in the trailer.

I also spent some time on the trim and drive indicator cables, I’m gonna have to have a bezel made for the indicator itself as the hole in dash is too big for it. This is the unit out of the donor boat I bought last year. It’s in very good usable shape.I had to drill some holes in the transom high enough in the boxes so the cables weren’t in a bind. Also will have to make some hardware for the arneson cylinders to connect the cables to.

I’ve got the trim and drive hoses being made right now, also ordered spark arrestoes, they’re about 2 weeks out. Also ATECO is getting close on my oil and trans coolers, fuel delivery’s and new distributors. Also Billy has been sanding and buffing the last few days. Just lack the deck now…

It's by no means perfect. There are some pinholes and imperfections here and there. But the first scratch is going to be tough to handle.

No, I just have the one. The blue and white one in the photos above is a friends boat just being temporarily stored. I'm not real sure what the fate of my parts boat will be, if my other friend doesn't get it I'll prolly see who on here wants it.

I'm sure you have a ton of people on here that would like to get there hands on it. I would love to have have shot at it. I've always wanted a boat like this that way I can run it around my local lake and I'm located in Southeast Texas to where I can run her up and down the intercoastal to Louisiana and back.. I'm not as good a craftsman as you but I can make her beautiful and bring her back to life...
.That's why I was asking. I feel like I can start my dream restoration on a boat I've always wanted.

Appreciate the compliments but like I've said, I'm just the local boat idiot with the means to do this stuff. If things don't work out with my friend you'll have first dibs on the white 38 flat deck.
