Now my old brain can relax. That is cool but I do not remember it on your boat but that was long ago. I was also a passenger and let the driver worry about the small details lol. I was on the boat a couple times a month and the race fuel was delivered in 55 gallon drums. The 700 inch Donovan's with each motor having twin Dominators on top of tunnel rams liked a lot of fuel. Thank goodness It was much cheaper then. I bought the two spare Donovans for the boat and still have the two very custom tunnel rams that I understand cost $2500 each back then. Wow

All the controls for this wonder of science are on the port side dash. All the tab and drive controls are on that side also. Same with the indicators. I was guessing most this stuff was this way back when you were on it, but don't really know.

My apologies hblair we high jacked your thread. Yes this is how it was which I think is perfect.. Throttleman on port but can see guages. Driver can see all well and throttle with left hand if need be and navigator on starboard. Scott drove and throttled but I was always in port seat and would throttle from time to time.

Not a total hijack. He had a new tank made, so now is the time to deal with fuel fittings, sending units etc. You never know when an idea will pop up that he will incorporate into his rebuild. Edit- especially since its down to the bare hull without a deck. The sky's the limit.

This should give him something else to think about- I'd do it in a heartbeat. Side by side six pack that still has a nice cabin with normal access. Maybe Dan can give us some background on it. It's a Welcraft I guess, but has a lot more Larry Smith to it than most, including the Team Scarab logo on the seats. Poker run edition 38.

I believe that was the 38 with 600SC and number V drives it was a Wellcraft build not a Larry build. But H's KV would look great with that setup in it.

I heard only 5 were made. Only ever seen this one. I think H's would look great with this set-up. Would Welcraft have put "Team Scarab" on it, or was that done later?

Wellcraft did that when Steve Simon was there on the special project boats. we had one of these out here with the number Vs wasn't that great of a boat drives were way to deep.
