Little 3M belt grinder makes it a lot easier to get in these tight places. I think I have 6 hours of prepping this floor framework. Finally got some 1708 glassed in there. Yeeha...

Got it a fair amount done today, was able to put two layers of glass on the rt inner cabin stringer, and put a second layer on the lt inner cabin stringer. Then put some core bond on top of the stringers and braces where the cabin settee’s are. Cut out and glassed in some 1/2” plywood. Also tabbed some on the #2 bulkhead..

Went back and fiberglassed the rear cabin rt side stringers. I’ll try to put another layer on them tomorrow. And possibly get the horizontal pieces glassed in top of them.

On all these stringers I’m tabbing them in place, then going back and fiberglassing them twice with 1708 fiberglass. So there’s two layers on the stringer and three layers of glass where the joint is. This boat will be very strong and lighter than when it was new.
