I was looking at some of the early photos in this thread and I noticed you have 1 more bulkhead in the cabin area than mine does. Did they add the rear bulkhead when it came with a head? Also do you plan on putting the kitchenette and the head back in or leaving it out to save weight weight

The earlier 38 flat decks were built with the bulkhead forward of the head & galley installed further aft in the boat than the KV's. I think the actual number of bulkheads is the same. This is talked about earlier in this thread.

I haven’t been able to work on the boat much lately. It’s super hot in Alabama right now. The materials for the arch is coming in so we should get on it soon...

So true about the heat.
I always have a boat, car or truck project in the works, mostly for entertainment (sanity).
But the summer heat is motivation killer often overlooked. At least in the south.
Awesome project all the same and sorry my arch was the wrong one, it’s just cluttering up the shop. I didn’t realize they used more than one type.

i wanted to recommend putting more glass and maybe triangle braces at the base of the transom. The drives push forward very hard and a secure joint is great.

I dont think it needs anymore bracing! There is already 3 stringers just like any boat or even any race boat! Where would you suggest additionnal bracing to be added?

I feel pretty good about the strength of the transom. The drives push on the lower part of the boxes, and the boxes "footprint" on the transom is pretty wide. With all the new fiberglass and structure I think it's going to be strong enough. I do appreciate the input and feel free to speak up in the future.
