I will periodically use the bosght throught the Winter (except January and February). Is it necessary to winterize or can I get away with a bilge heater and running the boat once or twice a month?

Please tell me the reason why they turn them in if you truly know...is it to gain 1 mph?? I have seen virtually no other builders that turn them in besides the ocasional Apache (only a few do it)....

Thanks for the opinions everyone. I am starting to feel better about running 87 plus it has no ethanol since it is at the marina. We have a choice of 87 or 93 and 93 is damn near $4/gallon.

Really not sure on compression ratio, she is bone stock, whatever stock is on a blue 502 carb...with 330 hours. She'll run out at mid 80's but I don't want to risk detonation if 87 octane won't cut...

Thx for the feedback. I did not know if there was a certain point when too much trim (out) angle would affect the longevity of the drives. Mine seems to want to run nose down naturally anyway

How far out would you trim a 32 fever

Noob here! Ayone know the max you want to trim the drives out on a 32 Fountain with HP 500's at speed. I was thinking 3.5 or so just so the u-joints, etc are not compromised.
