Give Mercury racing a call. 1-920-921-5330 is their prop shop but some one there should be able to hook you up to their engine shop.

I guess the deal between Gaffrig and Livorsi is that Livorsi had the rights based on a hand shake deal to sell Gaffrig gauges. Gaffrig ownership changed some...

Dan,
Yes the boat still has the 380 tabs on it. Rick (rsteiny) never did end up removing the box while he owned it, I did after I purchased it.
To remove the porpoising I have to use a lot of tab...

I removed the box last year do to the fact that I thought it would eliminate the porpoising problem but it didn't.
The question that I have for you is should the hull have any hook or rocker...

Griff,
Gordo does experience some porpoising with his on smooth water. I have mine all the time at upper speeds. Drop tabs scrub speed. That takes all the fun out of it trying to go fast.

The port side is the side that haves the hook and the starboard side has none. The hook is 1/8" to 3/16". How much do you know about it when the Smith Bro owned it?

Yes this is the old Smith Bro Boat which Active Dan owned then Rsteiny. I gave the whole boat a face over on the inside and had some gel work done as well on the side (dock rash)...
