Update, tried firing the boat with ignition switched off and it sounded like it was skipping through 1 cylinder?? I believe that was the sound referenced before?

its stuck around 3,000 rpm in gear but at idle...

its stuck around 3,000 rpm in gear but at idle seems it will go higher... havent tried to rev it up too much at the dock because this thing is straight piped and excessively loud... don't really want...

do they sound good?? No. Do they sound as bad as that video?? Also no. Honestly it sounds about like most old carbed motors I have been around. Far from perfect but definitely not as bad as that...
