I do not see low 90's from 700 HP. Maybe low/mid 80's which is still plenty fast for that size boat.

Another option would be to sell the 496 HO Mag, and for maybe $5-6k more than you were going to spend anyway you could get an entire engine package with accessories making 700 HP. Of course, any way...

TRL for sure. Much better lake conditions if you are actually into "boating," tie ups, coving(crystal clear water!), and lake water sports. We've got a 27 foot Check and can pretty much run it WOT....
