You are way overthinking it.
I wouldnt shift the holes. I would buy the correct length pushrods. Dont forget you will need taller valve covers or spacers too in order to clear the taller valvetrain....

I found a set of OEM forged flat tops for one of them, and a new set of Mahle forged flat tops for the other one. The new set are for a 505BBC bore/stroke/rod...

Im still dicking around with this 8.8 build and now looking at camshafts a little bigger than the 496HO cam I currently have.

This build is a 4.350 bore x 4.500 stroke. 10:1 forged flat tops....

I used a Hardin/Orca kit on my VP and it works like a champ. Mine mounts off the back of the heads... which created a whole 'nuther list of fitment issues, but nothing that couldn't be worked around....

My Tundra is lifted 3" and has 37" tires under it... so effectively 5-5.5" of lift over factory height.

It came with 4.30 gears in it... so it does just fine with 8000lbs of boat and trailer...

4.350" bore x 4.500" stroke. That has to be a 500hp combo (with correct camshaft) without even trying.

I agreed to keep the props if the seller split the cost of a pair of new hubs. Seller agreed to refund $150 so now im only into these for $750... which seems reasonable to me.
