Just a heads up...

I put over 290 hours on the boat when I owned it. I'm guessing when it was repowered new hour meters were installed...152 hours on boat...not so much.

The Mercury website says the motors will make 600 or 700 H.P. no matter the altitude or temperature. I'm wondering if anyone has actually tested that. I've got a trip to Lake Tahoe(6200') planned...

The Mercury website says that it's built to run on 87 octane but I was always told to run supreme on a blower motor. I'd like to hear from other people that have a Merc 600. What gas do you run?
