The engines are Sterling NA 775 hp with maximum Rpm of 5800. So we will try with the 1.5 and change if needed.

All that info has yet to be determined. However as a 525efi boat it was geared 1.5 with 32 pitch props running 82. Now there is 775 hp and what ever in needed to get the speed out of it . I want to...

That was with 1 person and full load of fuel.
Great boat with alot of mid range punch !

Thanks everyone for their input on this. I think I might wait a bit for Mercury to get the bugs out of the 1075's. I think I might go to Teague or maybe Tyler Crockett for some engines.

Nows thats not a bad idea. My dealer is so against us upping the existing setup because of resale ie. (whipples). But pull and keep the engines for resale time and put in some new power is...

Why do you think the triple is not the way to go with that package? Fountain pushes the staggered package thats for sure. I have a 42 staggered with 525's and it takes a mile to get to...
