Yeah, thats what I thought. I changed the serpentine belts this season and they were tight (new) going on and the tensioner is maxed out - may have put some extra stress on the pump shaft.

Thanks for the ideas - I do have to find a solution. For what the marina gets to haul, block, repair, and re-launch I am going to bleed to death.
