justsayin, check with powerboat mag. they had a test on the 96 or 97 cs24 in there mag . in 97. you can buy a reprint of it online. it had the 502 mpi.

If you can take the bounce the boat will take it. I got caught in a storm with 3' waves and I was running 73 mph and we got sprayed and the boat took it fine.

i had a 97 24cs for 10 years. Bought new at factory. Sold in 2007 for $31,000. Had the 502MPI . Good lake boat (Kerr Lake in NC/Va) It ran 72/73MPH on GPS. It weighed 4100#. 75 gal gas tank.

Boaties, In 1997 the 24 CS came with a 502 MPI Mag with 415 HP. The 385HP was a 454Mag. So i don't what you got!! Good Luck.

It weighs 4100#. 75 gal tank. 17 degree deadrise. Its has a 30 gal ballast tank. Sold mine last year. I had the same boat.

I got a Magic-tilt and it floats. I do what USA1 F said and does a lot better, but agrervating and it looks like I don't know how to load a boat.
