they certainly are anodes & yes they are very important in stainless manifolds ... dont forget to check these little buggers regulary.....when they wear out your manifold starts corroding.....

boat is 270 searay bowrider , has 496 mag ho to a bravoIII. prop pitch is 26 . max rpms are 4750.max speed is a disapointing 50 mph . the question is are any aftermarket performance props available...
