I have a new to me pair of 49HOs. One doesnt idle well and takes a few tries to start. Fuel filters fresh, fuel pumps work, tank vent clear.

yup. Pump is threaded on one end and not threaded on the other. Pushes into the cool fuel housing and I think it has an O-ring....but wont know until I take mine apart.
