I run a Bravo 24. Awesome handling. I haven't had it sharpened and balanced yet. I'm gettin about4900-5000 rpm, but I was going to have cut a little when the prop gets reworked.

Your mechanic is most likely correct. Not that the exhaust is prone to reversion, but usually caused by a leaking gasket between the manifold and riser or if your using in salt water they corrode...

From what I've read in other posts, the vin would start with something like LS as opposed to WC or WL which is what the Wellcraft version is.(one of the two)

I'm looking at new props right now. What kind of price are we talking? I've been looking at 25P Mirages 'cause that's what I've found so far that works on my 26' Scarab, but that's with no work done...

Pressure check them again to be safe. One bad winterization can split that exhaust real fast. Mud blockages and such. ( Do they use antifreeze?)

Coming from a boat mechanic, it sounds like she probably has cracks/corrosion in the exhaust manifolds or the gasket between the manifolds and risers is leaking. They need to be removed and pressure...

I've found with the stock 502efi that the 25pitch worked best. I'm currently running a Bravo1 4 blade, but I notice alot more side torque because of the narrow hull. Especially when getting out of...
