A friend of mine has a 2003 358 with Cobra 650 blower motors that ran in the low 90's. He replaced them with nat. asp. Cobra 750's and he's running about the same 93 or so. He also has 2" shortie...

I believe you've got the answer. I had a pair of 26's that were 200 rpm's off, took them off and put on 28's and problem solved.

you can get to Coles Point from Gilligans in about 30 minutes or so at cruise speed.
It is located on the Virginia side after Cobb Island and before Raggy Point.
They have covered slips,...

ok, problem fixed. Had a friend that is a merc mechanic look at it Friday, and it was the intake manifold gasket. Installed new Fel Pro gasket, and problem solved. The IAC motor was not the problem....

and Mesa, both engines idle the same, no loss of power, no obstructions, and all temps, and pressure within normal....just that excessive vacuum

I do not have a scan tool but after much debate from "merc" mechanics, I going to replace the IAC motor assembly, and start there. I actually get better information on this site than my local...

Thanks Smitty- I'll try that first. The PVC valve was ok.
Oh, by the way, it's a 2003 500EFI motor w/ 72 hours on it.
