I had a 28 AT and its a very nice boat with high free board. The pantera is a more sold feel & ride. The AT feels lighter and not as sold. Both great boats.

I think it was the four blade bravo 24 prop. Just took a long time to get on plane, not enough to get out of the hole. This was the first 496 HO in the 28 AT. You need the 525 in that boat.

I had the first 28 with the 496 HO in my 2001 28 and let me tell you that it took a good 8 - 12 seconds to get out of the hole to plane with 3 people & 1/4 tank full but once on plane it ran good.

In some cases they broke away from the hull. I know someone who had to fix several stringers on his 90 28.
The hull should always have a survey done.
