Use a smaller diameter prop , 3-4 blade don't matter. Those hulls hate big dia props to much stern lift. Back in the day used a big dia 4 blade and boat wouldn't react to trim much and ran nose...

I used bob and it was a amazing experience, always had entertaining conversations. Got the camshaft & valve train from him. With his recipe the naturally aspirated 428 sbc pushed my old tug to @ 90.
