I bought my 95 272 with 502 mpi 6 yrs ago good but 400 hrs on it used couple of years before motor blew I gave 17000 thought it was cheep. Put a 540 Dart block in it very happy with it now.

OK i have a lot of slack i see it in the gimble ring where the nut turns the out drive do i need a gimble ring or a berring help.

I had the prop 3 blade recupped and yes i am going to go to hydrolic i checked the other out drives they move side to side as mine but i think to much about 45 deg.

Where can i find the small guages in my 95 272. The cutout is 1 13/16 all the guages i have found are 2" or better. I might have to just make the holes bigger any sugestions.

I have a 1995 272 had 502 415 hp now went a 540 with 530 hp my prop brovo 25 pitch runs 5200 rpm with 90 gal gas and about 700lb of people runs 60 mph and the prop blows out any time i gas it ....

Ihave a 272 1995 model lost oil pressure did not beleave guage so now i have a Dart Block 540 with stock heads and 502 415 hrp original engine mpi had new motor dynoed maded 530 hp the old prop is 25...

I am rebuilding my 1995 502 MPI crank was trash will be going to a 540. Question can i put a hotter cam in or would i have have the ecm reprogramed?
