Why did you use 30w? I have been trying to figure if i should use 30 weight break in oil or 10w40 or 15w50... I was about to order joe gibbs 15w50 break in oil.. but maybe 10w40 would be better...

Mallory doesnt make the marine version anymore... but they said there was no difference, just talked to them. So i will just use the non marine one. I guess they never bothered to get it recertified.

Ok well i guess most of these harnesses are identical regardless of the boat. Its the 10 pin plug for the instrument panel which i need. I see it on ebay for 180 or so.

You could just use stainless braided an fittings. Or have napa or any hydraulic shop make hydraulic line with stainless crimped jic fittings.

I would think that doing an outboard boat would be more expensive and also wouldnt be balanced as well as in inboard.
