Can you guys bring me up to speed on the 26 Hustler. What is stock power and cruise and wot with stock power. Is a more appropriate motor the 525? What are performance numbers with that motor....

35 X vs 35 Lightning for New HI Perf Boater

Forgetting the difference in top speeds with standard engines, is the 35 X with one step, more forgiving and less likely to hook or spin out, than the 35 Lightning with two steps, if appropriate trim...

Little update here. Going back and forth on a new 35 X with the local NY Fountain guy and some out of state new X's available. $145,000 the best so far, from out of state, including all dealer prep...

Is the 496 HO an appropriate engine for either of these boats, or are they somewhat underpowered for quick planing, mid-range and top end performance? Of course the 525 will provide better...
