I'd say its still a spec class...just that the "specs" are a bit loose! LOL max length, max power and maybe a max prop pitch to keep the speeds within reason

The 7 designation seems like a bad idea, will just confuse things. Already tough enough for fans to sort out who's who and what's what when a race is happening. Why not SOB-## or SO-## to show...

Making a class 7 rather than a SOB class is taking a step backwards. As rick mentioned, make it a spec class and let the racers go at it! Makes the class far more attractive to racers and fans...
