I asked Don tonight if these were bad heads..and he said no..just the material they use when they come to welding (lot of junk in it) ..he said the AFR's were worse in that...

I wonder if I can talk RHS into another set of heads..Yea right!! :lolhit:

Update: 3" crack in one of the heads. 12 days...

Update: 3" crack in one of the heads. 12 days till Havasu. Find out Monday if repairable. RHS heads. Less than 30 hrs on them. Never overheated. Not like!!

Nope..used "The right stuff". When I pulled the intake off this last time..RTV was pressured equal also on all 4 ports.

My brain is cooked..Spent a whole day yesterday pulling all the studs..cleaning out threads, sealing..everything done right..filled system with water and pressure tested.....

That is pretty much what I have done..I put a schrader valve on one side and a gauge on the other..I can't hear anything and it drops all in about 10 minutes. My next trick will be filling the motor...

Funny you should mention the retorquing..I check the heads..perfect. When I torque the intake down yesterday..I came back 30 minutes later and had to torque down another 5lbs..So, now I am letting it...
