Were is the thermostat in a 525efi motor? by this pick it doesent .or did someone put a plate over it? Curious

If you look at the bottom part of the intake manifold on the left hand side of your pic toward the bottom, it goes where the oval shaped plate is being held down by two bolts.

but that looks like a block off plate, no water neck?

Rob the 525's are closed cooled it is under the heat exchanger.

I stand corrected, thought it went in the same place as on my HP500.
