That is what I was thinking at the time, and why I had not expected the additional stern lift, that I made reference to in post#306

If you are referring to my 30/308 Skater with Throttle-Up, 4 blade, over hub cleavers, 14.75x31:

Great mid range acceleration, excellent fuel economy 2.3-2.4+MPG, tops out over 100MPH. When I smash the throttles, the boat fly's straight and level. Here is a helicopter video of my boat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT2Xe4C2qHc

The video is 3 minutes long, and features my boat in every shot. The sound kicks in at 12 seconds. Be sure to view at 480p. Watch at 1:10, as I accelerate away from the front of the pack.

Bill,

According to my GPS tattle tale, 93.9mph, on the Gulf leg of the event. I did finish this leg first, with another 10mph left, if I needed it.

Jeff from FFV shot the video, and he gave me permission to re-edit it down to what I posted. Him and I go way back, from a lifetime of racing.

These power heads are original, other that the replacement 3 weeks after the boat was delivered (melted #5 piston, and ventilated the block with #5 rod).

I have no recollection of those events!
That's my story and I am sticking to it.
