Yes that is correct-I have an "open cabin" boat (so it's 5-700 lbs heavier & 5-7 mph slower then 1/4 canopy)had 575's 1.5 gear spun a 16 1/2 x 35
new setup is 914hp 900 ft lbs going to still use the 1.5- I want some serious acceleration-Going to use a 16 1/2 x 38 & see what happens from there

Did you talk w/ AJ & see what his setup was? I heard he had around the same power you do & ran close to 160?
