Hey Pre, Thats my boat. I get to be the prototype. Kinda cool. The guy who is writing the article called me this afternoon. Think he is going to come to my place at Toms River for the last part of the article. Go out for a ride. I think the name was more of combining the old 308 number with the 10 inch widening of the tunnel for 318. It does have a foot longer running surface than the 308 as they didn't notch the hull at the stern so it does still make sense that way. Maybe I misunderstood it the way I wanted it to be. Steve
