Hey Sam, I think you're right. It needs to perform well. They will sell a lot of this model with outboards if it turns decent numbers. If its not much faster than what people can get out of a 30 footer with 300xs and the DBR upgrade not sure how many they will sell. There is a lot more to it than just the widened beam. The cockpit is wider and the dash gets a real nice upgrade like your 338 had. Its going to Mercury for 3 days for set up which indicates how serious they both are although Mercury was the one who asked for the boat to come.
