That motor was on the merc racing line up for a couple of years. 6.2 377 CI 377 HP.

One more for ya Rick; has JC looked into the canopy's lately? I saw a company "sheilds" that was stamped into the canopy's ona bunch of the boats at the LA show... They were nice with very little distortion!!! I'm thinking wind might be a bit of a problem @ 100mph+.

I found the link to the company check it out
http://www.racingshields.com/F16.htm

Did I mention I spend way too much time on the internet!!!

Rob,
Just back from the shop.
Transom width- 71" at top.
Rear bulkhead- 54" from transom
We have been finishing up your deck and all the components of the boat. The cockpit liner was finisher friday, the deck is fully cored along with the windscreen. monday we will do all the grinding on the deck to get it ready for the final glassing. Before I start the hull, I want to get these parts out of the way. Figure 1 more week and the hull will be on it's way, and it will go fast since everything is made already.
Give me a little while to post the pics I took today. I have to make dinner for Kate and the girls. No Wisecracks !!!

Rick
