converted the single-roller suuport at the winch to a dual support v-form at the winch today.

This will give better support when trailering SAW34 longer distances.

woops, don't know how I missed this.

Sean, SAW34 has been ready, but I really would like to have a run after the interior has been completed, or at least the two front bolsters :)

Currently the SB logos are in design stage and the bolster stands are being streched 9 inches from PPI. Will post some pics as soon as...

How was the run today. such a nice day huh?

Superbabi 08-16-2010 06:26 PM

noli, your avatar shows the Jersey Shore as your location. Where are you located ??

noli 08-16-2010 09:34 PM

I am located in the Princeton area, but SAW will be shooting out of Manasquan River :)

Angel & Gary,

Currently concentrating on the interior seats.

Just got the printout of the logo from PPI. They had to send it back to the company to re-digitize the design. When the embroidery comes in (suppose to be today) Missy will send me another pic.

Here is the digitized version of the Superboat Logo.

The base of the bolster seat was stretched 9" to allow for me to see over the boat's windscreen. When that comes back from the metal shoppe, the seat will be completed...that too will be coming in wihtin the next couple of days. Will post pics asap.

Superbabi 09-11-2010 08:52 AM

noli, are you looking at a 2010 or a 2011 splash ??

noli 09-11-2010 12:09 PM

.
.
it's lookin' more and more like 2011 splash cause after the interior is complete, I will have the electronics installed.

this is one son-a-ma slow build !

Next year will be a big year as SAW will try to go to the Bahamas with the Family. First to Bimini (Bimini Big Game Club) then to Nassau and to Paradise Island :)

Missy at PPI pulled thru again and sent me a pic of the new logo embroidered.

the pic is a little dark, but you can see the work that they do. It's set on a carbon seating material

awesome!

Very cool Noli....cant wait to see the boat running!

noli 09-19-2010 06:14 AM

Sean,

I can't wait either. Will be a nice ride. Soft and quiet for those longer trips.

the bolster base bracket is still at the metal shoppe waiting completion. I've asked for heavier foam for the seats for better support for me....I'm pushin' 240 lbs :)

beautiful bolsters Noli

FX10 10-01-2010 10:12 AM

Noli, ask them if that bottom/forward piece is whats going to be covered. It doesn't look right.

noli 10-01-2010 10:58 AM

lol :)

that's the piece they're holding open because I've asked for it to have heavier foam to absorb my extra weight :grinser010:

Went by Ocean Outboard (OO) today. I took measurements of the back bench area for PPI (ppi-fl.com). And the sides for where the coaming pads would be installed.

OO installed the lower brass plug.

I'd like to stay with Superboat Inc.
JC indicated that the SUPERBOAT 32 Cat can be made ready.
I'd like tripple outboards, unfinished cabin - just carpteting, low-deck.

I luv lookin' at this pic: :drink:

FX10 10-27-2010 01:33 PM

Noli !! I can't wait any more !! Have them put 50 gallons in each tank. And tell them your testing it without the upholstery.

Pantera24 10-27-2010 02:43 PM

I guess I must be missing something.....You just had this boat done ....and might I add it is very nice!
And you now want to sell it and build a cat instead?
Great if that's what you want....but just left me scratching my head.

Gary Asked him "if you were going to sell, what would you get"

Gary's question wasn't really hypothetical since he actually does have the 34' for sale http://longisland.craigslist.org/boa/2028081396.html

Nonetheless not trying to start anything, it was just a question.

Noli's 34' is a BEAUTIFUL ride to say the least and I wish I knew it's performance numbers.
