Daryll has been busy with laying out the plastic for the gunwhale and the rear bench upholstery. I think this will be another exceptional work by Daryll.

Daryll's plan is to have the bolster upholstery made by PPI have the same look and feel as Daryll's work. The matching effort will go down to the details of vinyl colour and finish, piping locations, and foam firmness.

We'll be sending down white vinyl to PPI to have the Superboat logo be done by the same art studio as the ones made on the bolsters by PPI...again to have the same look and feel and make the whole interior upholstery to become harmonious ( had to look up this word :grinser010: )

Starboard side Coaming pad

The area around the throttles have thin padding to allow for hand motion around the throttles and is silver carbon.

The dark semi circle towards the stern will match the leading edge of the rear bench

Daryll is all custom :)

Dave M 03-22-2011 05:56 AM

Looks good! When is this boat going to hit the water?

noli 03-22-2011 08:23 AM

When the interior is completed, SAW goes back to the factory to have the bolsters bolted down into the floor. Then she goes back to Ocean to have props made and to have the engines cranked for the first time...then it's fun in the sun!!!

...that's my plan if SAW doesn't get sold first...

Superbabi 03-22-2011 01:42 PM

noli, why do props have to be made ???

noli 03-22-2011 02:25 PM

props will be labbed...

The new logos for the bench are in from PPI

Again Missy from PPI delivered. She was instrumental in ordering the smaller logos, which required to send artwork back to design for a smaller image (less stitches per inch)

I can't thank PPI enough for the dediction to their customers, even previous customers.

I think noli is buying a pair of those monsters for his 34' !!!!

noli 04-24-2011 11:57 AM

Not yet...1 of those motors cost $69K

Two = $140K yikes!!!!

That's like buying 2 Superboat 34's...brand new from JC :grinser010:

I just wanna help market these motors so that as more people buy 'em...hopefully the price goes down or they sell enough of them to continue investing in their product and come up with a bullet nose lowers :)

The speedsters would want a bullet nose lowers as opposed to the fishing lowers that's only available.

Superbabi 04-24-2011 02:47 PM

noli, is your 34' gonna splash this summer ??

noli 04-24-2011 04:52 PM

Y E S !!!

Will splash in about 2 weeks if the following happens:

1. Will get SAW from Daryll-upholstery April 30

2. If Rick has room and time, will bolt down the 2 front bolsters

3. after Rick, SAW goes back to Ocean to have her make-ready for first startup of the engines...and delivery

Woohooo very excited :)

How is your new boat coming along?

Do send us pics :)

Are you active in other threads in OSO?

Monday I will drop off SAW to JC/Rick to have the front bolsters bolted to the flooring.

Friday, SAW will be brought to Ocean to run the engines for the first time. Do a quick run test and release the boat to me.

Gary, did you get May/June Powerboat mag yet? They covered a few fast center consoles. Didn't know fast centers were on an up-and-up :)

This one is my favorite on this issue of the magazine:
