I hope the 30" pitch works out!

How many inches higher do you think G will go this weekend?

I wonder what other SB outboard owners' x-dimension is

Remember. An inch with a 30 Bravo prop might be different from another prop. Angelo from Activator said it best. " I have 17 machined props from Mercury, all the same diameter and pitch. There's a 4 mph difference between the slowest and best prop. Thats why I went to the Herring" Then again Herring has something like a 22 degree Rake. Lotsa lift. Told during the Boat test for the magizine

What are the new numbers that the 30CC performed today?

Top end, pitch, how high were the engines raised? ...noli

We raised the engines up, and it was night and day. Boat already ran well, but really made a difference. Boat rode a little higher over the chop, and with George and I in it, we hit about 75 mph, and had none of the shake/ chine walk I was experiencing last week. I rode around with a neighbor for a while after I dropped George off and we hit 77 mph, with the wind to our back. The big difference was in how the boat ran in the 5000 rpm to 5600 rpm range. Lat week, she would hit 5000 rpm and kind of hit the wall, and not really pick up any speed from 5000 to 5600 rpm, and after rasing the engines, she was real responsive in that range

George and I were messing around, and at 60 mph, the fuel flows were reading 13-16 gallons an hour....can cruise at 60 mph and burn less then 30 gallons an hour...not bad

Boat has to go in for 10 hour service and have a few odds and ends locked down, George is going to raise the engines on the jackplate itself (change which bolt holes it is bolted to), and then we will bring the engines up a little more.

About 5600 without having tpo trim it to the moon

I think that the sportmasters want to be very near the surface and the matching props would want to be at/near the surface as well when doing 80+

I think your 30CC can break 82, but the Bravo props are not designed to go 80+ my $.02
