Gary, I love that cover. Thats one way to keep the deck from oxidizing while at the dock.

z.zuperboat 05-19-2009 05:52 PM

Just getting around to ordering my shark skin cover last week . Should be in by the weekend . Covering the deck is the only thing to do to keep it nice. Looks good Gary

Superbabi 05-20-2009 05:38 PM

Thanks Rick, Mike. I have another change to show you guys. As soon as I get down the shore !!!

Found this in my boat box !!!!

Jigsaw89 06-25-2009 12:50 PM

I just got to reading my copy of the July 2009 issue of Performance Boats magazine and have to hand it to Gary & Marcy whose Superbabi Y2K graced 4 pages of the up and coming publication. It was a nice article, but pictures and commentary on the Y2K with a Ron Potter naturally aspirated 605 cube motor do not due the combo justice! Gary keeps his boat looking as good as new and thanks to the powerplant it shows, sounds and performs like a show-stopper… Congrats on a winning combo!

Just Installed, real nice to have the drive trim and K- planes all on one stick !!!

Jigsaw89 07-23-2009 11:13 AM

Hey Gary,

That trim/plane switch must simplify your fine tuning while crushing the bay!

I tried replying to your email this morning, but the aol server bounced it back to me. Brooke & I would love to join you guys for the show on 8/22. Please add us to the guest list.

Thanks!
Dan

Dan driving the boat with the Drive and K-Planes on the same handle makes any adjustments quick and easy, I should have done the switch years ago !!!! Great to see your coming to the comedy club (Knuckleheads Toms River ) The Otto and George show is over the TOP X-RATED !!!!

Like what you did Gary -
Here's a photo of my mod to address the same issue, I think you said you didn't have the room for this, but I was able to sneak in and move the tab switches.

Great set up Keith, for some reason I did not have the room to drop the K-Plane tabs where you did. As long as it works !!!!

Superbabi 10-04-2009 10:12 AM

What a great Sunday at the shore. This could be Superbabi's last run............................More to follow !!!!

noli 10-04-2009 10:22 AM

How about bringing the speedster to FL for some fun in the sun. Afterwards, fly down on the weekends and be in paradise for 4 months. :grinser010:

Miami to Bimini ~50 miles

Bimini to Nassau Paradise Island ~148 miles

...all doable on your sppedboat :)

Kendle, I never picked up a trailer, she is a lift boat. Also this could be our last year with our Y2K.

Superbabi 10-06-2009 02:14 PM

Just looking, 30ish with outboards. Simple and Easy.

Pure Energy 10-06-2009 02:32 PM

Did you blow something this weekend???

Are you looking for a cat?? Maybe JC will dust off his mold and build one for you!!

No Motor is Running GREAT !!!! Just time for a change. Those eggbeaters just go and go for hundreds of hours. A cat would be nice, perhaps a CC. The 800efi will be pulled out of the boat by the end of October, kept indoors just in case. :grinser010:

Jigsaw89 10-06-2009 07:22 PM

Hey Gary,
I hope all is well. Maybe a 30' to 32' cat with twin eggbeaters would satisfy your speed cravings and prove to be reliable.
Dan

Hi Dan, A fast outboard cat would be nice, but I'm thinking A CC at this point with 5 year warranty on the eggbeaters !!!:grinser010:

Pat not officially just yet, I have to determinate what the values of the boat and motor sold seperate are. I have lots of money invested in this hull motor and re rigging. No financial gains with boating, just an investment for your fun. Ahhhhhhhhh gotta love boating.

FX10 10-10-2009 05:18 PM

That would make her the fastest 30' CC ever !!!!

FX10 10-10-2009 05:52 PM

I believe Fountain holds the record fot the fastest CC over 30'. They did it in something like a 36 with trip 350's. It did either 84 or 87mph, Something to look for. Hmmmmm

FX10 10-10-2009 06:01 PM

Yup a 30 CC with a sit down Milleniom console and buckets. You'll most likely do over 90.
