Yup !!! out of the mold.
And heres a pic of the cabin backrest and the room you'll have behind it. |
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Rick,
Am I losing 5"s of seat depth there? If so that may not work, because someone will need to be able to passout there. And looking at the pic there's not enough room. PLease let me know! Tom |
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Rick,
Maybe you can build a extension to the bench seat into the walking area to widen the bench to 20"s? I spoke with JC and he said I will have 16"s as it is. What do you think? :evilb: |
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Be Careful With The Cabin Dance Floor Area. Looks Like It's Getting Smaller !!! Lol.........

It can be done. But as Gary said, you'll be losing the dance floor. What are you going to do with that disco light ball we ordered. LOL
PS I pulled your deck out of the mold today !!!! |
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Rick,
Alright! :evilb: That baby must have been in the mold awhile if I remember. Longer the better they say. Let's talk about the cabin when you get a chance. Tom |

|
Re: My next boat: Y2k!

|
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Sure Rick, Any Thing You Say.............lol
|
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Rick, How much room between the cabin bench's now?
|
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
24.5 " in between stringers Tom
|
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Thanks Rick. I need to chew on that for awhile.
|
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Tom,
You also have to take into consideration the porta potti inbetween the stringers. If the benches are extended outward, say more then 2" , they will be interfering with potti. Rick |
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Ya know what I might do if we plan on an overnighter is have a board I can lay on the Vbirth under the cushions. When we go down for the night I can pull the board out and lay it on the benches covering the walkway and converting the bench area into one big berth. Probably have a cushion made up to fill the gap of the exsisiting cushions. Is that too geekish?
|
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Beginning to sound like quite the "Playpen" down there. How many women do you plan on having stay over?
|
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
It's not me. I have a 15yr old son, 13yr old daughter, and 10yr old son. I know the oldest are gonna be entertaining some teens in there  while I'm checkin out the hotties on the beach. :evilb:
|
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Oh OK...I was gettin a wee bit jealous there for a minute...THese boats are chick magnets... My wife loved the first Y2K she saw on the water. Hence the easy up-seeling her on moving up from the 24. :) :) :)
|
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
I'm sure I'll have a few moments to make ya jealous. Don't count me out!! :D
