MIAMI — A tropical storm warning was issued Wednesday for parts of the Texas and Louisiana coasts as a tropical depression intensified in the Gulf of Mexico.

At 11 a.m. EDT, the ninth tropical depression of the Atlantic hurricane season had maximum sustained winds of 35 mph and its center was about 85 miles south-southwest of Galveston, Texas, forecasters said.

It was moving toward the north near 6 mph, and its center was expected to cross into Texas later Wednesday between Port O'Connor, Texas, and Cameron, La. Forecasters expected it to become a weak tropical storm with sustained winds of about 45 mph.

About 5 to 10 inches of rain was expected along the middle and upper Texas coast and in southwestern Louisiana, with some areas possibly getting as much as 15 inches, according to the National Hurricane Center in Miami.

A tropical depression becomes a named tropical storm when its sustained winds reach 39 mph. The next name on the National Hurricane Center's list for the 2007 Atlantic storm season is Humberto, followed by Ingrid.

90k takes it right now with mounted drives, polished lowers, props, exhaust, plates, and headers.

Need 1100hp engines, trannies and tailstocks to complete with current props.

Just got off the phone with the guy.

GALVESTON, Texas -- A tropical depression formed off the coast of southeast Texas on Wednesday and is expected to move into the Houston area as a tropical storm soon, KPRC Local 2 reported.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Radar Loops: Houston | Texas
Satellite Loop: Gulf of Mexico
Severe Weather Alerts
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A tropical storm warning was issued from Port O'Connor, Texas to Cameron, La. A tropical storm warning means that tropical storm conditions are expected within the next 24 hours.

The center of tropical depression 9 was about 55 miles south-southwest of Galveston at latitude 28.1 N and longitude 95.2 W. The depression was moving toward the north-northwest at 6 mph and had maximum sustained winds of 35 mph.

"Basically we're looking at a 10-hour landfall at about 9 p.m. or a little after that," KPRC Local 2 meteorologist Anthony Yanez said.

The forecast models indicate the system will make landfall near Galveston.

"It would make landfall just east of Galveston Island," Yanez said. "If it flows a little bit more to the west or off to the east, it almost doesn't matter because no matter where this goes it's grabbing moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and moving it into southeast Texas."

The system is expected to be directly on top of Houston on Thursday morning.

"This is something that we are going to be dealing with for quite a while," Yanez said

I saw that one. That could be a deal, but the one on ebay is a really nice boat. Has AC, gooseneck trailer, #6 drives etc. etc. etc. etc.

Also is the only known full kevlar pleasure boat to have ever been built.

40k for #6 drives and exhaust. no trannies bel housings, or tailstocks.

New #6 drive package with gimbals and steering is 75k from Mercruiser. There are a couple used sets out there for 50k.

The ones on this boat are upgrades with polished lowers.

when is the house suppose to close?

bigandy 09-12-2007 12:17 PM

jeffro will be driving scary til he's old, fat, and bald and he will still be posting ad's of boats he is looking at.... like the porter at your car lot, always wants to look at every car coming in and get a price on it but still driving a oldsmobruick. every car lot has one of them.

besides none of you guys have the stones to buy a new boat unless you find someone more retarded than you to buy your old one and you have money burnin a hole in your pocket. Bunch of pansies. ( btw, i am including myself in that statement )

yeah yeah blah blah blah.....it will still be del lago no matter how much money they pump in there. Bentwater has a nice golf course, but bentwater doesn't really bring any more money for the homes in there than any other golf course community around here.
