JoeW you could bring back the arch.

What would it take to put a couple 502efi's in that boat? Will they mate to borg warner trans with out much issue. Will the wiring need alot of mods?

Depending on the bell housings you should be fine. my 30 had BW 72C's and I beleieve there was nothing special with the bell housings. if not, Bell housings are cheap. Maybe a few wires for the ECM but Chad is an expert at that so you should have no problems.:party-smiley-004:

I have a stack of transmission bell housings.

I would think the problem with putting 502's in that boat is getting outrun by Txlefty, and/ or Buyuboy

The 502's have 10 0pin connectors, same as carbed boats. No issues with plugging in the harnesses.

The only issues are when a boat left the factory rigged for blue engines. Then the harness is sometimes a 14 PIN, and will need an adapter.

Luckily, I don't think anyone in our group will have that problem any time soon.

jeff1000man 02-23-2010 10:30 PM

I also have a stack of transmissions. :coolcowboy:

joew. 02-24-2010 08:18 AM

I did not get a PM??

I think that formula is cool but I do not want a project. My performance boat will be between 32-38 ft with efi power. It might be a ways away though.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I will pass on that.

New DART blocks are around 1700 each, heads are a couple hundred, then all the random chit he has there is not really that valuable.

jeff1000man 02-26-2010 06:55 AM

Notifying owner of white Nissan plate # KPS-837, you are parked Illegally. :lolhit:
