I use mine w/ Myco Elec over hyd and it works fine, I just get a annoying beep and a message saying the trailer is disconnected. But it works and stops just fine.

Brake rite system is compatible with Tow Command. Plug it in and go. Tow Command is really the best. I would just change the hydraulic pump instead of all the adaptors and stuff. I tow a 382 and it works great.

I just had to shim the ajustable neck part of the trailer, it had about a half inch of foward to back play. It wouldn't do it all the time just when you had to brake hard or when you took off from a stop then slammed on the brakes. It was so bad that it would throw you out of your seat in a f350 dually. Are you pulling with a regular hitch or gooseneck/5thwheel?

At least you now know your hitch won't break if it can handle that. Another thing I did to my 5thwheel was bring up about 1-2inches higher. It seems to tow better but its hard to tell since I am using a different truck. Good Luck

I called Carlisle. They told me that their controller does not work with the 08 Ford controller.

Allfiredup.. What actuators have you tried with the Tow Command. Carlisle told me that the problen is with the 08's not earlier models. Dexter said theirs works but may send false warning messages

I have an 08 f350 and the tow command didn't work with my trailer. Carlisle has no fix last time I talked to them. They have the fix for prior years though. I had the local trailer shop put my other controller in and run a new wire to the plug in the back. Wouldn't buy IBC if I did it over again.
