Nothing special, a triple axle heritage with electric over hydrolic brakes, tag along. Pulls like a dream, I never know it's back there.

How do you feel since you've logged some miles now..is the 450 as good as a 350 as a daily driver, or is it slightly rougher/bouncier. Im driving a single wheel f350 long bed today cause my dually is in the shop getting fluids changed, and there is a difference..the single wheel is smoother. Also do you have any mods to the 6.4 when towing..or is it stock. thanks Jeff

Thats a good question. Is the 450 even a reasonable daily driver?

It's my daily, short distance 2 office but 3 1/2 hours up north and back every w/e. Great on the highway!

It is a little stiffer on city streets and speed bumps, not a lot but a little. It is much easier to park do to the tighter turning radius. Great on the highway and expressways around town. All and all I would rather drive it as a daily driver than the 350 dually. The turning radius is amazing, tighter than the FL. as well. This comes in very handy when moving the boat around.
I haven't done any Mods on this one yet, as I was concerned about warranty, being a new motor and all. I am very tempted though as I think it would help the mileage, hope this helps
Michael

Back to the question posed on this thread previously about an under bed frame mounted hitch to distribute weight between the exles like a fifth wheel without tying up the pickup bed.
