Ford SD 6.4 opinions.

IS your Harley Davidson gas or diesel? They had a few black HD edition trucks around but I wanted the KR mainly for the interior. I am thinking about having the bottom painted blue and adding painted bushwacker flares when they do my lift next week. Going with a 6" procomp lift and Procomp 37" tires on 20"wheels.

I will weigh in with my $ .02.
There seem to be a lot of 6.4 owners who have had "major" issues. When you have a good one, they are great. when not they are REALLY BAD.
The Duramax is the way to go IMHO it is proven and the allison tranny is totally bulletproof.

The Ford 6.4 had a pretty good tranny behind it now. I don't like that you can't lock it in 4th gear.
They all have their share of problems. I will say that the major reason I bought a Ford was I couldn't see out of the GM & the GM seemed much smaller inside vs. the Ford.
