I may have changed my mind, they sweetened the deal some more. It is $5k plus cheaper than a comparable duramax truck. I'm going to pick it up sat. and test drive it till mon. too see how I like it.

I can't believe somebody hasn't bought that truck already. Congrats on your new truck!

Beautiful truck and that hood looks like it should have been OEM off the line. But 350/750??? C'mon dude that motor's not even breathing hard. Almost all the drag trucks and rails run 12 valves. 1200+hp is very common for the 12 valve.

Well it is not a drag truck , just a 2 wd hunk of **** to pull my Skater . Hey stock it only had 185 HP 300 Tq or something like that . The truck as it is right now I have a grand total of 4500 . Here is a pic when I bought it on Craigslist 1 year ago for 1500 . I boughtan 2004 hood from Rumble bee from Craigslist for 75.00 and installed scooop and made it true ram-air . Right now installing new HP trans and converter . For sure not the fastest but it beats much out there

LOL gotta love that BHAF! That long bed makes the truck look right, I don't like short beds.

Yeah the 12 valve was not very powerful stock. Mine is 325/610 stock. There's a guy from Utah with an 06 he set his up for sled pulling. Last I heard he had 1300hp and he guesstimates 2400-2500tq because he can't find a dyno that can give the right numbers. I think he's running a full billet NV4500 tranny.

My truck is a 2006 white quad cab dually. Basically stock except for a Fluidampr, True Flow air filter system and FilterMag on the oil filter.

I will admit always hated long bed and loved short bed but this truck has grown on me . The higher a long bed goes the better they look . I'm kicking around making the truck even more custom by removing 10 inch of bed behind rear wheels . I have rendering and it is bad ass and will be one of a kind , I'm aware of what a 12 valve is capable of but I feel current level is well strong enough and reliable and still gets 22 on highway . Looking for better MPG with new converter

If you take 10" off you're gonna need to move those decals right? I like the honeycomb grills and that emblem but I must say I'm partial to the big Ram sitting up there like the old Jaguar statues.
