They are working on something for 12, as Im told by an engineer friend. They are down on the hp/tq wars and are working it out..they will also have urea. As to the interior, they have really updated the look as well as the feel..not quite as nice as Fords, but much nicer than any of the GM's out. The heated steering wheel and rear seats are a plus.

Yeh I agree, Ford's interiors are excellent, I sat in the new Explorer and fit/finish and materials and layout would shame even some luxury cars. Really the only thing I don't like on the new Ford hd trucks is the massive chrome grill/front, I would look into getting it prepped and painted.

This is really a personnal choice. If you like big wide flat hard seats then the ford is great. If you like something softer and plush then GM. I really liked my ford except for never making it where I was going, but the seats were really hard. My new GMC is very comfortable no matter how far I am traveling. Not to mention it is ALOT more quiet running down the road.

Mike, I have both an 11 Ford and GMC, but not the denali like yours. The Ford comparing interiors on the 11 models is far nicer..both 55k respectively..The Ford feels less plastic, the dash material has a softer feel more like a german car, the wood looks less plastic, and the seats are also nicer, and bolstering is more comfortable. I think you just have a CANDY AZZ The Ford is also quieter, even with the upgraded 400/800 power which raised noise slightly. The GMC is still quicker 90% of the time. On our 11's, we have 50+K on the F250, it was one of the first ones that came out, and my F350 has 14k, and my GMC 2500 has about the same.. All these new 11's are way better than their previous generations, especially fuel economy.

The new Rams(2010-2011) have been greatly upgraded in their interiors and ride quality so those are no longer excuses anyone can use not to buy one.

Everybody knows that an inline 6 cylinder diesel will outperform and outlast a V8 which is why the big rigs use them. The Cummins inline 6 has 40% fewer moving parts, much larger connecting rods and gets better fuel mileage than the V8 diesels. The inline 6 also makes peak torque much lower in the powerband, meaning it will get the load moving quicker and easier than the V8.

Jassman once accused me of being a "Cummins fanatic" or words to that effect. I stand guilty as charged.

Thanks CAT...The F250 looks better with the shorter bed....and actually I like the looks of our GMC best...but my favorite for looks only, (dont get overly excited you Dodge lover) is the Power Wagon on the other thread..but it needs a diesel.. My F350 is going to paint in a few weeks when I get a chance with some changes in colors...I don't know why I strayed...but it will be another blue theme..

Know what I was just thinking, Ford F-250/350 done in black wrap (matte) lifted on some black rims etc, would look sick.
