We had three new f550’s with 6.0’s at the farm in FL back around 2003.
We kept them for 3 years. The last two years we never had all three out of the dealer’s shop at one time. Switched to gmc Duramax’s and liked the engine but the chassis’s didn’t tolerate the farm stuff very well. Back in F 350 6.7’s and really like them. They pull like tow trucks.

If going to a dealership, test drive a new 6.7L while your there. I loved my 6.0L most days, but this newer 6.7 truck with more miles on it than my 6.0 has me all smiles every time I roll into it. Of course I couldn't leave it stock, so only time will tell.

Update, drained and refilled coolant, changed tenp sensor and thermostat, haven't towed the boat yet, driving yesterday 85* day for about 30 min I noticed my EOT was creeping up to around 234* does this seem high without a load ? Ive searched normal temp range and have not found anything, coolant temp was 189 190

I would bet that if you gave Bulletproof Diesel a call, they could help you out. They are pretty sharp on the 6.0's. I used to buy a ton of parts from them when I was fixing the blown head gaskets on these trucks and flipping them.
