A short Google trip came up with a Sea Ray brochure, albeit a 99.
Weight at 10,500#

We get it, you're proud of your Expedition or trying to justify it. Either way just do whatever traffic you're around with that combo a favor, stay to the right, keep her about 50 or 55, maintain tons of distance.

I get that you two aren't the brightest bulbs on the Christmas tree and that you're grasping at whatever you can to save face, but would you at least try to use some factual info that pertains to my rig? The 99 Sundancer is a different boat in a lot of ways. ie., the beam is 5" wider. Mine is an early 97. Here are some guys, other than me, talking about weight. So, you can go start an argument with them too about their boat and trailer combo weight lol As far as staying right and 55, apparently Cheech has problems with reading comprehension and making assumptions also. I drive 7 miles to the boat ramp. No highways...
Here is the 97 brochure as well as other guys with MY boat talking about the scales... 95-early 97 are the same. 9,920 with the same set up as me on an aluminum trailer and 11,120 with a 92 on a steel trailer.
9,920 lbs with the 400 lb genset. I know it's a lot of math for you, but get some help to walk you through it. This means mine is 9,520 lbs. Woah... 320 lbs overweight. Call the DOT!!!

Uh oh, someone brought facts...

I'll even throw in pics of a real Expy front and rear caliper and rotor. Not cheech's fantasy caliper...

Last thing, if you want to continue this for some strange reason, have some respect and start a new thread. You've trampled all over the OP's thread.

What you seem to miss I think is the emergency situation- some fool brake checks, stops dead in front of you. Prius stops within inches and you will need feet.
Some other idiot pulls out in front of you.
There are Way too many idiots on the road and come an emergency situation---Best of Luck.

As for weight- its Dry- add trailer- fuel- water- toys- cooler full of beverages- But hey its ONLY 7 miles
What's the old saying- Most accidents happen with in 1 mile of home or some chit like that.
Personally I like Way overkill.

You know that towing capacity and GCWR are spec'd with a completely empty tow vehicle, right? It's just a driver and a full tank of fuel. You have already skewed those numbers with the heavier front bumper. And I bet you tow with your family aboard the tow vehicle as well, right?

I've had to make an emergency lane change while emergency braking, while towing 13,000 lbs., with a 1-ton SRW CC LB Ram; caused by a dumbass driver in front of me. It scared the living hell out of me. I literally committed in my mind that I was going to hurt this person, but I narrowly was able to control the entire rig into a full lane change, and barely squeak between him and the guardrail. To this day, I don't know how I missed him. I thought about it again last night, and said I thank you prayer.

There is no way you would be able to do such with the Expedition and that boat behind you. When you cram on the brakes, it's going to nose dive the trailer. That's going to pitch the tow vehicle, unloading the front steer tires. All you are going to do is understeer, and probably jackknife, or even roll it.

I figured in the interest of data to post the full ratings for the tow vehicle, I assume its the Max tow version. As normal for the companies they get these ratings on the stripped down vehicles, not the max optioned ones. But hey, it is in the small print so all is good !

You don't understand GCWR or tow ratings. At least not how you wrote it. The GCWR is the GCWR. Not "spec'd with a completely empty tow vehicle". Gross Combined Weight is simply the weight of both truck and trailer in the moment you weigh it. The spec means you shouldn't go over that weight. Dry weight is without fluids. Yes, the boat weighs ~8,500 as shipped without fuel and without gear.

Anything different from what I've explained already?

I'm sure those aren't your own pics.
No fantasy caliper. As you're not very bright, don't include the bracket in the size of the caliper.
Look it up
And go weigh YOUR setup! My bet is you're over 10K.

You did that when he asked anyone about towing over 10K with gas in a 2500. Then you post your dangerous setup that only goes 7 miles to the ramp.
And claim this;
Pulls better than most gas trucks I've driven.
