This is great news! I was always a fan and almost bought the boat several times when Maddy had it. At that point it was perfect Maddy just couldnt seem to part with it. Once Maddy was gone it appears it lost it's "custodian".

I hope it comes together well.
Good Luck!

I believe that after Twister, it was left in a yard adjacent to the county landfill near the corner of Sample and Powerline in Pompano Beach, I believe called Crystal Lake Storage. I looked at the boat there in 2006 when I purchased my 26' Corsa, as its trailer was stored in the same yard. At the time, I was dealing directly with the yard, trying to purchase Still Crazy, as there was about a years worth of unpaid storage. The owner was in Indiana or somewhere in the midwest and was going to use the boat as a prop at his restaurant!

So glad to see the boat has landed in the right hands. Yep, Crystal Lake Storage - my race car trailer pointed right at Still Crazy and my boat was parked along the same shoreline. I was almost sad to see it gone one day. It sure has passed through a few hands recently.

Really looking forward to following the resto...

I don't have the great story to go with mine, but I too am restoring a older ex-racer Velocity. It can feel like a monumental task for sure at times, but keep plugging at it and you will begin to see the light. Good luck!

This is one of the best stories i have read in a long time. A family working on a project like this is just great.

Jordan, Mike , when you get the boat ready, your entry to the Jacksonville Poker Run is on me. Dates are June 9,10 and 11.

Looking foward to meeting both of you and your family.
